Nongkhai cross culture training If you wish to have a closer look at the culture of Isan region, in North East Thailand, join us in Nongkhai!
You’ll learn how to speak basic Thai language to communicate with the local people, to cook a Lao/Thai meal and to dance the local Isan style. In this town located on the Mekong River, you’ll discover an amazing giant sculpture park, a typical Indochinese market and a beautiful temple with the famous Golden Buddha.

This tour can be combined with the 6 day trekking tour in Phu Wua Wildlife Sanctuary

Day 1: Udon Thani airport or Nongkhai rail station

Pick-up from Udon Thani airport
or Nongkhai rail station by English-speaking local assistant.
Introduction into Thai Culture. Learn important dos and don’ts, the correct way to greet Thai people, how to sit, how to dress, how to eat and more. Introduction into Thai language.
Transfer to a restaurant for lunch (practice the phrases you learned in real life situations).
Discussion about SE Asian Culture.
Thai language lesson.
Transfer to Nongkhai Resort Hotel. Relax and rest.
Transfer to dinner at a restaurant with view of the Mekong.
Return to the hotel and overnight stay there.

Day 2: Nongkhai

Breakfast at your hotel.
Visit the giant sculptures of Sala Kaeo Ku Park.
Visit Tha Sadej Indochinese market, and buy some Thai goods to learn new words with the help of the shopkeepers.
Lunch at a restaurant at the market.
Free time for some more shopping.
Transfer to your hotel to rest.
Transfer to the food market to buy some ingredients and testing your skills using Thai language.
Transfer to the training center to cook Thai/Lao meal and learn more about the culture.
Dinner party at the training center including buffet, music and Thai/Lao dancing show with local band and dancers. You will learn some gestures and steps and participate with the dancers in their performance. You can end the evening by a karaoke a typical Thai entertainment.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
